So I’ve been spinning like a madwoman……. Spin spin spin… 4 pounds of fleece have been spun now….. I’m spinning up some now and making my own colourway… Kinda… I have this tealish heathery fleece that I’m spinning for about 8 yards then spining two yards whites the about 8 yards or so teal etc….. It reminds me of frothy waves…. I can’t wait to finish spinning so that I can see how it knits….

I’m so excited I got my secret pal spoilee and emailed her… I haven’t heard from my secret pal spoiler yet I’m nervous about screwing everything up….

In other news I learned to spin last night and spun up 32 yards of handspun out of a quarter a pound I feel like as I get better I will be able to get more yardage outta a quarter pound……

Its so pretty its blocking in the bathroom… I decided not to ply it…

Soooo I’ve been doing a lot of knitting I’m knitting three different
versions of the tab button jacket from debbie bliss’s wish you were here
only I resized them so they are fitted instead of oversized….

Also working on ryan’s socks almost to the heel… And I started another
pair for him today… Which is kinda ironic cause I think he’s not
talking to me right now… But he’ll get over that when he gets warm
yummy socks in the mail…

Working on a fancy lace stitch that I’m designing perfect for a bottom
border little ruffley…

I need more lace yarn lots more in every colour imaginable…. Must have
more lace yarn much much more

I have three more lace patterns in design in my head… Two of them
skirts speaking of skirts you should check out the great skirt debate at
knitspot…

I’m off to oggle cashmere lace yarn….

Tip… If you find your self knitting a sock with the candle flame
stitch pattern(which you should cause its beautiful) and find you have
made a huge completely obvious error in the pattern riping out in this
stitch it completely maddening and you will loose all grips with
sanity…. But the end product is very very beautiful so its well worth
it…

My top three are merino alpacha and angora(love to try cashmere too) I
hate hate hate cotton

I keep my dpns in a pencil case my regular needles in an artists brush
case and another one for my circs

3. How long have you been knitting? Would you consider your skill level to be beginner, intermediate or advanced?
Since I was 12 which is now 12 years I consider myself advancedish…

Not really

Lilac, or gardenia.

I sew, scrapbook, paint and just learned how to spin I can kinda weave but
only have a tiny childs loom

I like punk, alternative, country, classical, opera, musicals, etc….
Yes my cd player can play mp3′s on it if burnt to a cd

Blue, teal, turqouise, black,
I hate hate hate brown or brownish colours not a big fan of orange

Depends on the project I prefer mostly metal needles with the exception

Taught my self to piss of my great grandmother… I do knit a lil funny…

I don’t subscribe to any knitting magazines… But I really want a gathering of lace by meg swanson, and creating original handknitted lace by margaret stove….. Oh and a really good stitch

Yes I am knitting two different socks now… Hmmm lemme check

I’m soooo excited only 13 more days till I get my pal and start spoiling away… In other news I screwed up soooo horrendously on ryans sock I have to frog a ton os rows it looks horrible…. And on my sock I really hate the lace pattern and I’m already half done with the foot so frogging that too….. So not sock happy right now… I think ill forget about those for now and start a mosaic sock from sensational knitted sock by charlene schurch I recently got this book and love it….

Okay now that I got this posting from the phone thing under control I
shall post more often…
