Insomnia strikes again….. I was up for most of the night, well honestly all night and finally my eye closed around 9am…. But damn it if I wasn’t awake at 12:15…. Atlease I got a lot done last night…. I
did some reading that I needed to do, I knit on my capelet that I’m designing, and my cashmere lace arm warmers, and my fantasy hoodie…. They are all coming along… I still need to knit mers socks for his birthday….. Oh how I want the memories yarn but alas I’ll have to use
something else… But those colours are just sooo perfect….

Also I wanted to recommend a blog for you to read… Knitting Betty ; I can’t tell you exactly what I love about her blog but I love it…. Probably my favorite even over the yarn harlot…

So I was looking @ knitpicks thanks to susan and jennie and I have to
say now I want some memories yarn I want two skeins of yukon for me and
two skiens of fly fishing for socks for mer…. I really need to make
him socks for his birthday I have said I’d make him socks since last
chanukah and haven’t yet done so and his birthday is on nov. 14th and I
want to finally have a pair of socks made for him I might actually try 2
socks on 2 circs to see if this might help….. I dunno…. But here’s
my problem I purposefully don’t have a credit or debit card so I can’t
order online(yet again this is purposeful) so thus I can’t order online
and fly fishing is the single most perfect colourway for socks for
mer…. Maybe I have a friend in the area who’s buying some yarn from
there and will toss my order on with theirs, esp since the cheapskate in
me want the free shipping but I also shouldn’t be buying 40 dollars in
yarn…. Le sigh maybe ill make a trip to the lys and see if they have
something similar…..

P.s. Happy national coming out day… In honor I’m coming out as a liza
minnelli fan….
