13 Day and Counting
So it’s 13 days until I head off to New Zealand and I’m already starting to miss San Francisco. I have been realizing all the things in SF that I wanted to do and haven’t done, now that I don’t have time to do them. Not Just SF but California in general, I really wanted to goto Disney Land(or World whatever one is in Anaheim) I’ve never been to either of them, I wanted to goto Hollywood and see Audrey Hepburn’s Star and Graumann’s Theatre. In San Francisco I wanted to goto the top of Coit Tower, see Alcatraz, do the Vampire Tour, goto the Dickens Fair, and so much more! I guess I will just have to come back sometime and do it all as a tourist!
Today is the Folsom Street Fair and I just don’t feel like going down there to do all that, instead I’m staying home and sorting through more crap and getting things ready to head out to their new home in thrift stores. I don’t feel like I’m going to regret not going to Folsom, I went for 4 years straight and have experienced it and all but I don’t really feel the need to to go this year especially when i have so many better things to do. It is exciting that I remember being 12 and watching Real Sex on HBO late late at night and seeing Folsom on there and going that looks fun, and i actually end up living in the city that hosts it and have gone 4(maybe 5) times in a row…

The vampire Tour Guide

Two days in a row… look at me go… I’m going to really try to be a better a blogger. I have a plan! I am going to make write post page my home page so every time I open my browser this page will be here for me to see and hopefully encourage post writing. I’m going to be very busy the next couple months and such between moving(15 days EEK) and that fact that I have signed up for NaNoWriMo which takes place starting November 1st.
I have been planning out the things I want to write about for NaNoWriMo and figuring what kind of style, and genre I want to write in… I used to write all the time and have gotten out of practice and hopefully this will get me back in practice. I have heard some people freak out about it and everything but it’s only 50,000 words in a month thats only approx 1667 words per day and i bet my average blog posts go way beyond that. I’m hopping that the raw novel I pump out can be rewritten and edited into something actually publishable.
I still have a lot of packing and giving away of stuff to do before I move and it’s scary but I think I can do it. Anyone need a 1930’s American Dutch style low but wide 9 drawer dresser? Email me and it’s yours!

Well I have a new blog now… I’m going to miss blogger… NOT!
Wow I also have my own website now, I find that odd. I also have a website for The Mosh Knit, its over here. This site is hopefully going to have all my eclectic crazy artist en devours on it.
16 days till I get on a plane for New Zealand and start a new life in a new country. It’s going to be really weird living in a place that I don’t know and am unfamiliar with. I’m so used to knowing how to get exactly where I want to go when I want to go there. I started to get really sad today as I unsubscribed to a bunch of listservs that are SF/Bay Area focused there are a couple that I haven’t yet unsubbed from yet cause they are resources I will probably need up to the last day I live here. I’m going to miss this place and the people I have met here, but now it’s time for me to make a new home and make new friends. I have been really busy working hard and many many many jobs to ensure that i have enough money to last and survive off of when I arrive.
